Hey Seahorses! We're excited about our meet against Big Bend Woods tonight. Remember, the pool deck here is smaller than we are used to and the field will serve as a bullpen, which is a lot of room but, almost too much unstructured space. Katie and I are working on a way to add structure to make the bullpen feel more like what the kids are used to at our pool and to make it easier for our bullpen volunteers.

Here's a rundown of the schedule and some extra information that will be helpful since we're guests this time. We look forward to a fun meet - remember to hydrate today and stay cool! Please let us know if you have any questions,

4:45 - BBW warmups 

5:00 - our warmups

5:15 - timer meeting with official (on pool deck between two cabanas) 

5:30 - meet start 

Parking: The parking lot by the pool will be open for our families. Parking attendants will be available to help direct you. If you are unable to find a spot in the lot, please be aware of neighborhood parking signs and don't block driveways. BBW has encouraged their families to drop off and use street parking to help welcome our team. 

Bullpen: There is a large field next to the pool that is the bullpen (see attached picture). With the openness of the field, we ask that all parents help bullpen volunteers to make sure their swimmers (especially younger ones) are where they need to be at the right time. We will have a bull horn in the bullpen to assist with locating all kids. 

Things to bring: chairs, flashlights (it can get dark in the bullpen if the meet goes long), water, anything that keeps you cool!  

Food: the concession stand takes credit cards and has a wide variety of options: hot dogs, burgers, brats, french fries, onion rings, chips, candy, sodas, gatorade, and ice cream treats.
